Nose: Ripe red cherry, plum and dried rose layered with cedar, tobacco and earthy spice, opening on red currant, red orange and a touch of ginger
Palate: Medium bodied and balanced, with fine tannins and bright acidity over juicy red fruit and savory undertones
Character: Blood orange, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of minerality

VARIETAL
100% Sangiovese, as required by the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

WINEMAKING
Aged 36 months in large cask

CELLARING
Approachable young, and it should age gracefully well into the 2040s
