After years of cultivating hospitality through their popular Seattle restaurants and bars, Joe and Laura returned to their beloved Inland Northwest to plant new roots in Laura's old stomping grounds, and share their passion for wine with the community they love. Along with their children Maxwell and Parker (and their four-legged sommelier, LuLu), they've created more than just a wine shop – they've built a gathering place where wine enthusiasts of all levels can explore, learn, and connect.
What began 16 years ago as The Dinner Party has evolved into Base Camp Wine & Co., though our core mission remains unchanged: creating an inviting space where wine brings people together. Whether you're taking your first steps into wine appreciation or you're a seasoned collector, our carefully curated selection offers something to excite every palate. Each bottle in our shop has been personally tasted and thoughtfully chosen, representing both hidden gems from unexpected regions and beloved classics from renowned appellations worldwide.
Our commitment to wine education runs deep. Laura is pursuing her Master's in Wine and Beverage Management, and Joe continues to expand his knowledge through WSET certification and ongoing wine studies.
