Appearance: A dark purple black core lightening to ruby at the rim
Nose: Intense black plum, crushed elderberry, violet, smoked meat and turned earth
Palate: Dry and full bodied, with ripe black cherry and blackcurrant layered with baking spice, moving into savory dried leaf, cedar, anise, camphor and cocoa
Structure: Firm, chewy tannins with sweet spice
Finish: Very long, complex and fresh
