TASTING NOTES
Nose: Soft white florals and juicy peaches in cream
Palate: Medium bodied, with juicy lemon sherbet and apricot flesh over moderate acidity
Finish: Long and crisp, with a soft texture from the lees ageing
VARIETAL
Savatiano, 12.6% alcohol, unoaked
VINEYARD
Seven blocks of fifty year old, low yielding, unirrigated vines at Markopoulo, on limestone over gentle north facing slopes at 100 metres
WINEMAKING
Hand harvested in mid September, then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel at 17°C for around twenty days
PRODUCER
Domaine Papagiannakos in Attica, founded in 1919 and now run by the third generation, Vassilis Papagiannakos
