TERROIR
Gualtallary's high-altitude terroir in the Andes foothills produces wines of exceptional character and refreshing acidity. Once considered too cold for viticulture, this region has emerged as one of Argentina's most exciting wine territories since the early 1990s.
PRODUCER
Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Juan P. Michelini at Zorzal, established 2007. The Michelini brothers pioneered earlier harvest techniques in the region, moving away from the overripe styles typically associated with Argentine wines.
A perfect expression of high-altitude Argentine winemaking, combining Loire Valley grape heritage with the unique mountain climate of Mendoza.
