From carefully selected vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc captures California sunshine with refreshing precision. A long, even growing season and sustainable vineyard practices delivered fruit of exceptional balance and vibrancy, resulting in one of Rombauer’s brightest and most expressive white wines to date.

Taste
The nose leaps with passionfruit, green melon, and subtle herbal notes of fresh-cut grass. On the palate, crisp citrus flavors—kiwi, Key lime, and grapefruit zest—unfold with energy and clarity. A mouthwatering acidity frames the fruit, while a hint of texture from partial barrel and concrete fermentation adds depth. The finish is lifted, juicy, and refreshingly clean.

About the Winery/Winemaker
Founded in 1980, Rombauer Vineyards is family-owned and known for crafting wines that balance richness with approachability. While their Chardonnay has become a Napa Valley icon, their Sauvignon Blanc is a rising star, shaped by winemaker Richie Allen and sourced from cooler vineyard sites that preserve freshness. Precision viticulture, including NDVI (aerial vineyard imaging) and block-by-block farming, ensures that every vintage reflects the best of California terroir.

Why We Love It
This Sauvignon Blanc is a true crowd-pleaser: vibrant enough for summer sipping, yet layered with citrus and tropical notes that elevate it beyond the ordinary. It’s the kind of white wine that feels at home both poolside and at the dinner table—equally delicious with fish tacos, Pad Thai, or a classic Niçoise salad.
