Domaine de Pallus is a rising star in Chinon, led by Bertrand Sourdais—a fifth-generation winemaker who honed his craft at prestigious estates in Spain (notably Dominio de Atauta) before returning to his family domaine in the Loire. With a deep respect for biodynamic principles and low-intervention methods, Bertrand crafts soulful, precise Cabernet Francs that express both place and purity. The “Messanges” line is his playful, early-drinking expression of the grape.
