Two Mountain Merlot 2022 – Yakima Valley, Washington
Rooted in generations of Yakima Valley farming, this sustainably crafted Merlot blends estate-grown fruit with a deep respect for land and legacy.
Taste | This vintage is rich and expressive, balancing dark cherry and ripe plum with subtle earthy tones. The 21-month barrel aging (in French, American, and Russian oak) adds layers of vanilla, cocoa, and spice. A smooth, medium-bodied red with structure and freshness, ideal for both casual sipping and hearty meals.
About the Winery/Winemaker | Two Mountain Winery is helmed by brothers Matthew and Patrick Rawn, fourth-generation Yakima Valley farmers. Named for the views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier seen from their Copeland Vineyard, the winery reflects a minimalistic, hands-in-the-dirt philosophy. As Washington State’s first certified sustainable vineyard, their commitment to stewardship drives every bottle they produce.
Why We Love It | It’s a quintessential Pacific Northwest red—elegant, approachable, and deeply tied to its place. With its blend of Merlot, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon, it’s a crowd-pleaser for dinner parties, date nights, or gifting.
