TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Medium to deep garnet with a suggestion of purple at the rim
Nose: Dark plum, raspberry and Provencal lavender, with hints of anise and pepper
Palate: Black fruit with pepper and clear blackcurrant, plus walnut, cedar and dark spice
Structure: Medium to full bodied, firm but mellow and creamy, finishing velvety
VARIETALS
Shiraz led, with Grenache. The Shiraz comes off vines aged fifty to eighty years for depth and structure, the Grenache off vines up to a century old for brightness and lift

The Shiraz spends sixteen months in seasoned French and American hogsheads. The Grenache sees minimal oak
