Domaine Bargemone, located in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence region, represents 800 years of history and a new momentum as of 2023. The estate spans 120 hectares of vineyards surrounded by preserved flora, including flowery meadows and fields that host diverse wildlife. The entire vineyard is managed under Organic Agriculture practices and holds the HVE 3 (High Environmental Value level 3) label.
About the Winery
Domaine Bargemone's history dates back to the 13th century, originally a Templar commandery. The Einaudi family acquired the estate in September 2019, led by Pierre Einaudi, with a focus on excellence, sharing, and ecology. The winery has undergone major renovations between 2019 and 2023, including the addition of a state-of-the-art winemaking cellar.
Winemaking Philosophy
Domaine Bargemone aims to capture the essence of their terroir in each glass. They treat each parcel separately, adapting their vinification methods to what the vineyards offer. The winery embraces the art of blending, combining wines from separately vinified plots to present different profiles while constantly pursuing excellence.

Terroir
The vineyard consists of various soil compositions typical of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, including clay-limestone in Saint-Cannat, clay and silt in Puyricard, and rocky soils at altitudes reaching 500 meters in Eguilles.
