TASTING NOTES
Nose: Voluminous, with cedar, black cherry, blueberry and licorice
Palate: Mouthfilling and complex, with inky cherry ganache, mulberry and licorice offset by savory herb, graphite and black olive
Structure: Full but supple tannins, finishing plush and remarkably elegant
Finish: Sinewy, with mocha, balsamic and spice

VARIETAL
100% Malbec, above 15% alcohol

APPELLATION
Cahors, South West France, the original home of Malbec

WINEMAKING
Aged in 40% new French oak

CELLARING
It will improve for another two or three years and hold for another decade
