A masterpiece from Chile's premier wine estate, the 2021 Clos Apalta represents the pinnacle of South American winemaking. This exemplary vintage showcases the extraordinary potential of Carmenere when crafted with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Blend: 75% Carmenere, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot

Tasting Notes:
The wine presents a stunning dark purple robe with deep violet edges in the glass. The nose opens with an expressive bouquet of black and red cherries, fresh figs, and ripe plums, complemented by intricate layers of spice and black pepper. Notes of fresh sage, lavender, and subtle hints of pine needles and sandalwood add complexity to the aromatic profile.

On the palate, the wine displays remarkable balance between power and elegance. The initial impression is plush and concentrated, yet the wine maintains an almost weightless quality that speaks to its exceptional craftsmanship. Perfectly integrated tannins provide structure while allowing the pure fruit flavors to shine. The finish is extraordinarily long, with spice and mineral notes that continue to evolve.

- Fermented 89% in French oak vats and 11% in French oak barrels
