A pale, dry, classic Côtes de Provence rosé from a small organic family estate in the Massif des Maures. Crisp, herbal and made for the table as much as the patio.
Taste
Pale pink in the glass, with delicate notes of peach, citrus and wild Provençal herbs. The palate is light and polished, with bright acidity and a clean, dry finish.
About the Winery/Winemaker
Isabelle and Jean-Pierre Daziano took over Isabelle's family farm in 2007, a small estate near the village of Les Mayons in the heart of the Côtes de Provence. The vines grow on clay and schist in a forested landscape of umbrella pines, cork oaks and chestnut groves that is home to nearly 180 protected species. The domaine has been certified organic by Ecocert since the 2013 vintage, works the soil without chemicals and harvests by hand.
Why We Love It
Provence rosé usually gets treated as a summer accessory. This one is a real food wine: dry, bright and savory enough to pour with grilled fish, roast chicken, charcuterie or a Niçoise salad well into fall.
