About the Winery/Winemaker
Domaine Jomain was launched in 1992 by siblings Philippe, Christophe and Catherine Jomain, who inherited vineyards from their father, Marc. The family farms about 22 acres in and around Puligny-Montrachet, from premier crus like Les Pucelles, Les Combettes and Les Perrières down to about 5 acres of Aligoté.
Why We Love It
Aligoté is having a moment, and a grower from Puligny is exactly who you want making it. It is a natural with oysters, grilled fish and goat cheese, it makes a fantastic Kir with a splash of cassis, and it is a fun, unexpected bottle to bring to a holiday table. Serve it well chilled.
