THE NAME
Claré J.C. looks back to two historical sources: Thomas Jefferson, who met a lightly sweet, faintly sparkling Nebbiolo in 1787, and G.B. Croce, who described Piedmontese winemaking in 1606
*Nebbiolo as it was drunk before Barolo existed: light, off dry, faintly fizzy, and meant for right now.*
