Bright, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, Pazo Baión opens with intense aromas of orange blossom, jasmine, grapefruit, and tangerine layered over crisp apple and pear. The palate is refreshing yet substantial, combining vibrant citrus and orchard fruit flavors with a fine mineral backbone. Elegant acidity carries the wine across the palate, leading to a long, persistent finish marked by saline freshness and lingering floral notes.

About the Winery/Winemaker | Pazo Baión is one of the most celebrated single-estate properties in the Salnés Valley, the historic heart of the Rías Baixas appellation in Galicia. Managed by Adega Condes de Albarei, the estate is known for producing some of Spain’s most highly regarded Albariños. The vineyards benefit from the cool Atlantic climate and granite-rich soils that have made the region famous for wines of freshness, aromatic intensity, and mineral precision. Careful vineyard management and extended aging elevate Pazo Baión beyond a typical Albariño, creating a wine with both immediate appeal and impressive complexity.

Why We Love It | Albariño is one of the world’s great seafood wines, and Pazo Baión shows exactly why. It captures everything we love about the variety—bright citrus, floral aromatics, and mouthwatering acidity—while adding a level of texture and depth that sets it apart. The nine months spent aging in foudres provide additional complexity without diminishing its freshness. It’s a wine that feels equally at home alongside a seafood feast or enjoyed on its own on a warm afternoon.
