A lively, aromatic white from the Douro Valley that punches above its weight. Crafted by the legendary Symington family, this fresh blend brims with tropical fruit, citrus zest, and vibrant acidity—perfect for easygoing sipping or seafood pairings.
Taste | Bright and bursting with character, this wine opens with zesty aromas of lychee, passion fruit, and fresh herbs. On the palate, it’s exuberantly fresh and crisp, showing flavors of green apple, citrus, and tropical fruit, all wrapped in a clean, mineral-driven frame. The finish is snappy and refreshing, with just the right amount of tang to keep your palate coming back for more.
About the Winery/Winemaker | Symington Family Estates has been shaping the Douro Valley since the 19th century and is best known for producing world-class Port wines. With the launch of Altano in 1999, they became pioneers in Douro table wines, blending tradition with innovation. Grapes for this white are grown in high-elevation vineyards near Lamego, Alijó, and Favaios and vinified at their cutting-edge Quinta do Sol facility by winemaker Charles Symington.
Why We Love It | Douro whites don’t always get the spotlight, but this wine proves they should. It offers everything we love in a summer white—juicy fruit, crisp acidity, and a touch of texture—at an unbeatable price. It's a crowd-pleaser with seafood, salads, or just good company. Plus, it’s vegan-friendly and easy to love from the first sip to the last.
