Winemaker Notes
Crafted by Mario Licari at the historic Sallier de La Tour estate, this Syrah showcases the exceptional potential of the Camporeale terroir. The Ex-Pereto vineyard's potassium-rich, loamy soils and southwest exposure create ideal conditions for developing complex aromatics and achieving optimal ripeness. Aged 70% in steel tanks and 30% in wooden barrels to preserve freshness while adding subtle complexity.
Vintage Notes
The 2021 vintage produced a more immediately approachable expression compared to previous years, while maintaining excellent aging potential. The wine shows particular vibrancy and freshness, with perfectly balanced structure and concentration.
