Timeless, elegant, and effortlessly refined—Pol Roger’s signature Brut Réserve is a benchmark non-vintage Champagne that delivers depth, balance, and a quietly luxurious profile with every pour.
Taste | Brilliant golden straw in the glass with a persistent stream of fine bubbles. The nose is expressive and inviting, opening with ripe pear, mango, and honeysuckle, unfolding into jasmine, brioche, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, this Champagne is vibrant yet graceful, showing notes of quince jelly, apricot compote, beeswax, and acacia honey. A long finish reveals layers of candied citrus peel, tangerine zest, and warming spices like cardamom and anise.
About the Winery/Winemaker | Founded in 1849 and still family-owned, Pol Roger is one of the few remaining Grandes Marques in Champagne with its independence intact. Based in Épernay, the house is known for its rigorous standards, traditional craftsmanship, and deep chalk cellars—some of the coolest and deepest in Champagne. The Brut Réserve is crafted from 30 crus and blended from equal parts Pinot Noir (for structure), Pinot Meunier (for roundness), and Chardonnay (for finesse), including 25% reserve wines. It is aged a minimum of four years before release.
Why We Love It | This is Champagne at its most classic: finely structured, aromatic, and full of quiet complexity. It’s an all-occasion wine that elevates everything from aperitif hour to roasted poultry, white fish, or even truffle risotto. Plus, it has royal pedigree—famously served at British royal weddings and official banquets.
