The Garzón Tannat Reserva 2022 is a distinctive expression of Uruguay's signature grape variety. This full-bodied wine showcases the unique terroir of Garzón, located just eleven miles from the Atlantic Ocean, where small vineyard blocks on hillside slopes benefit from varying microclimates and intense canopy management, resulting in rich, expressive fruit.

Vineyard & Production

Grown in the mesmerizing landscapes of Garzón, Uruguay, near Punta del Este, La Barra, and Jose Ignacio. The vineyards are characterized by rocky soils, granite boulders, and naturally occurring palm trees, creating a truly unique growing environment. Fermentation takes place in 150 HL cement tanks, followed by 6 to 12 months of aging in 50 HL untoasted French oak casks, preserving the wine's natural character and terroir expression.

Tasting Notes

Visually striking with a deep purple color. The nose offers fresh aromas of red and black fruits, particularly plums and raspberries, complemented by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it presents a strong personality with generous body and structure, featuring ripe tannins and distinctive minerality that reflect its unique soil identity. The finish is long and vibrant, with balanced acidity contributing to its elegance and lingering freshness.
