Winery Overview
Adelsheim Vineyard was founded in 1971 with an optimistic spirit and a lofty dream: to create world-class wines in the undiscovered Chehalem Mountains of Oregon's Willamette Valley. David and Ginny Adelsheim purchased their first 19 acres outside Newberg, Oregon, establishing the region's first-ever winery in 1978. Since then, Adelsheim has played an instrumental role in nearly every aspect of the Oregon wine story, becoming a LIVE certified sustainable winery and a seven-time Wine & Spirits Top 100 Winery.

Tasting Notes
"Ahh, the first wine released from a new vintage is always exciting and this year's Rosé is a sheer delight. It's like smelling a glass that someone thoughtfully pre-filled with tangerine zest and white peach nectar. How considerate! Equally appreciated is the delicate dusting of grated nutmeg and the utterly vibrant palate. I could drink this with most meals, nearly any night of the week." - Gina Hennen, Winemaker

Winemaking Philosophy
Adelsheim is dedicated to crafting benchmark wines that celebrate the unique bounty of their estate vineyards. Their decisions and work revolve around the question: "How can we make the best possible wine out of the best possible grapes?"

Winery History
Luck, fate, and determination led David and Ginny Adelsheim to establish Adelsheim Vineyard. Today, they own more than 200 acres of land in the Chehalem Mountains, with 175 acres planted to vineyards. The winery continues to collaborate with partner vineyards to source the best fruit possible from the Chehalem Mountains and Willamette Valley.
