Producer Information Château Liversan dates back to the 18th century with the Marquis de Latresne family, originating from the Order of Malta (a religious order founded in Jerusalem). After passing through different owners, the Château became the property of Guy de Polignac, who was part of the royal family of Monaco; the family's coat of arms can still be found on the main door of the Château.

Today, the Château is owned by Antoine Moueix Propriétés, one of the greatest wine dynasties in history with more than 12 Châteaux around France. Their goal when acquiring Chateau Liversan was to promote and elevate the Château to its full potential, successfully making it one of the most respected Cru Bourgeois of the Haut-Médoc.

Vineyard Notes Chateau Liversan is located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc region, just over 3 miles from First Growth neighbors Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Lafite Rothschild. The estate's ideal location on fossil-rich limestone soil and commitment to environmentally-friendly practices results in concentrated and elegant wines that perfectly reflect the terroir.
